Baking Again!

I feel like I haven't been baking much lately and suddenly had an urge to. I looked around and realized that we had a bunch of lemons and limes that were left over from my attempt for an edible centerpiece for our new dining table (don't ask!). So I went to my favorite recipe website and found this perfect recipe to use them up! For once, I actually followed the recipe completely. These came out a bit softer than my Cookie Carnival Lemon Bars and you can definitely taste the addition of lime in them, which made them REALLY good!

I love lemon...anything. Lemonade, lemon meringue pie, lemon bars. Yum.

p.s. look for the israeli couscous in the specialty of ethnic section of your market. The pearl size and texture definitely added depth to the meal. If you use regular couscous, report back and let me know how it turns out!

Oooh, lemon bars WITH lime? Why didn't I think of that? Double citrus for double the goodness. ;)
