Saying Good-Bye with The BEST Cookies!

This is my coworker's last Friday with us so I decided to make his favorite, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Since I don't have any passed-down family recipe, I decided to make Elise Bauer's Grandmother's, which seriously turned out to be the BEST EVER! I think the secret is using shortening instead of butter for a chewy texture and adding LOTS of raisins. I've NEVER seen cookies disappear so quickly at the office and even Greg had 3 the night before! I'm sorry to see my coworker go but at least he'll be leaving with memories of these cookies!
