Chicken Nuggets to the Rescue!

Whenever I find Tyson's Chicken Nuggets on sale, I always pick up a bag cuz they make super easy and quick meals. Don't let the word NUGGETS fool you into thinking they're unhealthy. They're nothing like the fast food variety and are made of all white meat and natural ingredients! Of course, we love them as snacks but with a bit of creativity, they can turn into a yummy dinner like tonight's Chicken Parmesan and Shells! Super quick and easy and just the perfect Friday night meal!


1 Tbsp butter
1/4 c onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1 c chopped canned tomatoes, undrained
1/2 c whole milk
10 chicken nuggets, cooked
1/2 c shredded Mozzarella
Pasta shells, cooked al dente


1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking pan.

2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook until tender, 5 minutes. Add garlic, Italian seasoning and chili flakes and cook for 1 minute.

3. Add tomatoes and milk and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

4. Add chicken tenders, Mozzarella and pasta and stir in combine. Pour into baking dish and bake 10 minutes, until bubbly.
