It's rare that I follow a Rachael Ray recipe all the way but her Pumpkin and Sausage Pasta didn't need much tweaking. The only thing I did differently was cooking everything in 1 pot, pasta first, placed in drainer, then sauce in the same pot. Why dirty more dishes than necessary right? It still took only 30 minutes since I didn't make the side dish. (We're not big on sides!) It turned out great and very "fall-like". The pumpkin flavor was subtle but definitely there and made a yummy creamy sauce! And as with all of Rachael Ray's recipes, it made a huge pot and the left-overs will be gobbled up in no time!
